Achieve Your Potential

Step 1

Talk To Your Children

Children listen. Parents who talk with their children about the risks of drugs and alcohol are up to 50% less likely to use them as youth.

Step 2

Connect With Experts

Parents who get the information they need to intervene early with their child's mental health concerns and drug or alcohol use can significantly reduce the likelihood they will suffer long-term negative consequences.

Step 3

Get Involved

Raising resilient children takes a village. Tualatin Together meets the second Wednesday of the month, September through June from 11:30AM - 1:00PM at the Tualatin Heritage Center, 8700 SW Sweek Drive, Tualatin, Oregon.

Talk They Hear You

Is your dinner table silent after you ask, "How was your day?"

Here are some engaging questions that will generate conversation with those of any age.

Alison Arella

"Regence Bluecross Blueshield of Oregon is committed to preventing opioid misuse. Tualatin Together partnered with us to bring Chris Herren, a powerful speaker, to our community. His powerful presentations provided positive interactions for over 8,000 youth and families from Tualatin including visitors from Seattle, Boise, Newport and San Francisco."

"In 2015, I began serving on the Board of Directors. Although my children are now grown, I saw this as an opportunity to serve Tualatin and help meet a need to support the physical and mental health of all the citizens of our community. I invite you to join us at a Tualatin Together meeting, meet our other coalition members, and find out more about what we are doing to make a positive difference!"
