Tualatin Pride Stride is a family-friendly celebration of and for members of the Tualatin community who identify as LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and/or Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, and allies). Tualatin Pride Stride is held in June, as a part of Pride month, to recognize the 1969 Stonewall Uprising.

Members of the LGBTQIA+ community - who include our friends, family, neighbors, and city staff - have a right to be seen, heard, valued, and celebrated. Join us in uplifting LGBTQIA+ voices, celebrating LGBTQIA+ culture, raising awareness of issues affecting the LGBTQIA+ community, and supporting LGBTQIA+ rights.

Tualatin Pride Stride Community Agreement

By attending Tualatin Pride Stride and Celebration, participants agree to the following:

I will show respect for others as individuals by learning and using their proper pronouns.
I will respect those around me, even when I do not agree with them.
I will keep an open mind and will listen to learn about ideas, questions, and points of view that my differ from my own.
I will try not to make assumptions and will ask questions to learn more about other perspectives - especially those that are different from my own.

Time: 10AM - 1PM

Location: Tualatin Commons on the Lake

Festive welcome and warm up event at 10am. Stride begins at 10:30am. Before and after the Stride attendees will have access to fun activities such as music, collaborative art, food vendors, and LGBTQIA+ support organizations.

The Stride itself is an approximately 1 mile walk that will start and end at the Tualatin Commons. The route is accessible for wheelchair and stroller users.

Safety for everyone involved is a top priority for Tualatin Pride Stride. We are working closely with the Tualatin Police Department and Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue. Peacekeeping and de-escalation measures will be woven into all aspects of the event.
